London Mayoral candidate visits Hendon

Matthew was delighted to welcome Shaun Bailey to Hendon for a visit to the Give It Forward Today (GIFT) charity. 

Since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, the charity has worked with young people to provide almost £500,000 worth of food to people in the area and made direct contact with 12,650 elderly people who are not able to socialise normally. 

After viewing the facilities, Matthew and Shaun packed bags of vegetables for distribution and discussed their shared view that everyone should be able to cook a basic meal with raw ingredients. 

Matthew said: "Shaun Bailey is someone with real life experience. He knows about hardship and can identify with problems that many Londoners face. This Thursday, 6th May, I shall be supporting Shaun to be the next Mayor of London."
